19-year-old woman struck by truck on I-10 Mon. was trying to go to store
A 19-year-old woman is in the hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a truck on I-10 on Monday night.
El Paso Police say that the woman, whose name has not been released, was attempting to cross the eastbound lanes of I-10 near Yarbrough to try and go to the store.
A 2007 Lincoln Truck, driven by a 33-year-old man, struck the woman.
She was transported to Del Sol Medical Center with what police described as serious injuries.
The truck driver remained at the scene. No files have been charged and the investigation continues.
