And a lot of secrets revealed.

For example, Hello Kitty is not a cat, according to Christine R. Yano, an anthropologist from the University of Hawaii who has spent years studying Hello Kitty.

Yano found out that startling information when she was preparing texts for a Hello Kitty exhibit at a museum and Sanrio, the producer of Hello Kitty, corrected her and said she’s not a cat.
