Las Cruces sandwich shop robbed by armed suspects early Thursday morning

Las Cruces Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Thursday morning at a sandwich shop on University Avenue.

Police say that around 2 a.m. Thursday, that two men, both armed with guns, entered the Jimmy John’s store and ordered employees to get on the floor and demanded money.

The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money and left through the store’s north entrance.

No shots were fired and no injuries reported.

Both suspects concealed their identities.
