Man Dead After Being Pinned Underneath Semi Truck

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office’s Crimes Against Persons Unit is investigating the death of a man near Horizon City.

According to a spokeswoman with the sheriff’s office, the deadly accident happened shortly after 6 p.m. at S&S Truck Sales, which is located at 14121 Gateway West.

Investigators say a semi truck fell off a jack-stand holding it in place. A 40-year-old part-time employee died after he was pinned underneath.

The man will be identified as soon as his family is notified.
