Arizona State football team arrives for Sun Bowl

The Hyundai Sun Bowl will officially be a devil of a time, now.

Arizona State’s football team arrived in El Paso Tuesday morning and were greeted by mariachis and folklorico dancers.

Fans also welcomed the team.

ASU Coach Todd Graham said the team was grateful for the very warm welcome.

“It’s just an incredible welcome,” Graham said. “I think the fans will be excited to watch them play.”

If you want to get in the Sun Bowl spirit, there’s a few things you can take part in leading up to the game on Saturday.

The Sun Bowl Golf Challenge will pit teams from ASU and Duke against each other the day before the game.

And the Fan Fiesta will offer free events and entertainment the night before the game.

And leading right up to the game, the Third Annual Sun Bowl Sky Party will offer food, drinks, and music on the South Sun Bowl Parking Garage.
