El Paso Police say man was driving while intoxicated while driving more than 100 mph on I-10

A man allegedly speeding on I-10 leads to a DWI and unlawful carrying of a weapon arrest.

El Paso Police say 33-year-old Luis Santillana, of the 14000 block of Pancho Gonzalez, was driving a black 2013 Cadillac XTS west on I-10 west at a speed of more than 100 mph.

Once police stopped Santillana they allege he was intoxicated and saw a 9 mm handgun on the passenger floor board of the vehicle.

Santillana was booked into the El Paso County Jail on bonds totaling $1,350.
