El Paso Sheriff’s Office increasing DWI patrols during holidays; get a free cab ride

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office have been conducting increased DWI enforcement from Christmas to New Year’s Day.

Sun City Cab Co. and L&F Distributors are teaming up to offer a free cab ride as one option for individuals who might have had too much to drink.

How to get free cab ride through Jan. 2, 2014:

– Have to be at a participating bar. If you are not sure if the bar is participating in the free cab program, ask a bar employee.

– Consumer has to ask bar employee for details and get a voucher from the bar as well for the free cab ride.

– Consumer has to go from the participating bar to their home – no exceptions.

– For the most part, the participating bars are in heavy traffic areas such as the Cincinnati Entertainment District, Union Plaza area, Lee Trevino area, and Fort Bliss.
