Mexican media report Chapo Guzman had heart attack
Mexican media is reporting the head of the Sinaloa cartel, Joaquin “el Chapo” Guzman suffered a heart attack in November.
He was reportedly treated at a private hospital in the state of Jalisco. The reports say Mexican authorities were notified of the heart attack by the DEA.
They said the heart attack happened sometime between Nov. 15 and Nov. 20.
There were reports of him being killed in a shootout back in February but lack of evidence, or a body, could not support that claim.
The Sinaloa cartel is considered the largest and most powerful drug cartel in the world.
