Model train exhibit invites adults to be kids again

For a lot of parents, the best part of Christmas is getting to be a kid again while teaching your kids how to use that new toy.

Now there’s a special place where grownups can be kids again.

And playing with toy trains is perfectly acceptable.

People can check out the model train exhibit at 7 p.m. every thursday at 6335 Vaughn Court near Ascarate Park off Fonseca.

The exhibit is sponsored by the El Paso Historical and Model Railroad Association.
