Police say Borderland woman killed 2 of her children, herself in Denver
A woman from the Borderland and two of her children were found shot to death in Denver and police are saying it appears to be a murder-suicide.
Police said they are not looking for a suspect. ABC-7 news in Denver said they spoke with the woman’s family and confirmed she was from the Borderland and had moved to Denver.
According to police, officers found 23-year-old Myra Perez and two of her children shot and killed in their home Wednesday morning.They are identified as 6-year-old Nivek and 2-year-old Eric. Perez’s 3-year-old, Isabel was critically injured. She remains hospitalized after undergoing surgery.
They report the family has just moved to their house in Denver about six months ago. Police have not confirmed if Perez’s husband, Rick Perez was home at the time.They only report he was unharmed.
