Passenger hurt in Fabens rollover crash

A passenger was hospitalized with serious injuries after a rollover crash near Fabens this morning on I-10.

An El Paso County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman said the driver lost control of his vehicle, and rolled into the median.

That vehicle was traveling eastbound, but came to a stop in the westbound traffic lanes. It happened at about 6:30 a.m.

A passenger was hospitalized with an apparent fracture of the neck.

The driver was unhurt. Investigators are attempting to determine if speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
