UTEP announces its 2015 football signees
Twenty-two student-athletes signed national letters of intent to attend and play football at UTEP on Wednesday.
Highlighting the Miners’ 2015 signing class are five El Paso/Las Cruces area players.
The list includes 11 offensive players and 11 on the defensive side. There are eight from Texas (four from El Paso), six from California, two from New York, and one each from Arizona, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico (Las Cruces) and Washington.
There are 17 players coming out of high school, four junior college transfers and one Division I transfer. The list also includes 10 linemen (five offensive and five defensive).
The Miners will begin spring training on March 2 and will play in the annual Spring Game on April 10th at 7 p.m. MT
