Search for paper hearts around Downtown El Paso and you could be chosen for prize

With Valentine’s Day a few days way the Downtown Management District is giving the public the opportunity to win Valentine’s inspired prizes, sponsored by Downtown businesses.

Five papel picadohearts will be hidden in one downtown business each week leading up to Valentine’s Day.

One prize per heart hidden each week and one grand prize winner.

A clue will be given each week via the“DWNTWN El Paso”social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram to help the public find theHidden Heart. Once found, simply take a picture with the heart and hashtag#DTEPto automatically be entered in the contest.

No purchase is necessary in the business the heart is hidden in order to participate. There will be one heart hidden in each downtown district for a total of five. One grand prize winner will be selected and announcedThursday, February 12, 2015.

Winners will be announced one week after the clue is given. The third heart is hidden in the Government District and the clue is: “Find the Restaurant where an Eagle stands guard and 499 plus two is where is waits for you.”

The prize for week 3 is a gift certificate from new restaurant Nolita – 420 San Antonio St., opening its doors for the first time on Valentine’s Day! (By reservation only.)

RULES

– Both couples and singles can enter.

– Enter as many times as you like, posting with hashtag #DTEP.

– One heart placed in one business each week. (2 the last week.)

– Do not post location of heart. (Cropping of photo may give it away, just do not say it.)

– Prizes will be announced each week and cannot be exchanged for cash value. (No purchase necessary to participate.)
