Police investigate Sunday night shooting in Northeast El Paso

The El Paso Police Department’s Crimes Against Person’s unit is investigating a shooting that happened in Northeast El Paso Sunday night.

At about 9 p.m., Northeast patrol officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of 6100 Sun Valley.

Police say that a fight happened between two men and that during the fight one of the men was shot.

Police also say that prior to the fight, the man who was shot had threatened the wife of the other man.

The man who was shot was taken to University Medical Center and is in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
