Residents react to new team name

At Tuesday’s unveiling of the new team name, many people in attendance said they were surprised by the choice.

The name has even inspired a petition on Change.org, requesting the name be changed because it is “non-intimidating, stereo-typically offensive, and downright ugly.”

But the designers at Brandiose who chose they name, said “Chihuahuas” is a great logo and people will soon come to like it.
