First Alert continues with more rain, flooding potential through Thursday Night

ABC-7 continues a First Alert through Tonight for the potential of more rain and possible flooding in our area again.

Showers and storms produced flooding around the El Paso metro area and left motorist stranded for several hours on Interstate-10 Wednesday night. Some areas in east El Paso picked up 3″ of rainfall while other locations received 2” of rain.

Thursday morning more rain moved through the area, with embedded thunderstorms dumping periods of heavier rain.

Temps will stay in the upper 70s and low 80s through Thursday and Friday. Rain chances will begin to go down Friday afternoon and Friday night. There will still be some lingering moisture from Odile to give us a chance for storms over the weekend and into next week.
