Victim in Saturday night rollover ID’d
Police have identified the man killed in Saturday’s rollover.
Gilberto Juarez, 29, was driving a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer. Officers says the Blazer eastbound on interstate ten when he lost control and hit a rock wall. The truck ended up landing on the eastbound portion of Gateway Blvd.
When the vehicle rolled over Juarez was ejected and crushed by the truck.
Juarez died at the scene.
Investigators believe alcohol was a factor in this crash. They also think Juarez not wearing a seat belt was a factor.
