Zuill Bailey Brings Soothing Sounds of Cello to Local Hospital

El Paso,TX- Zuill Bailey is on a mission to bring comfort to babies in the neonatal intensive care unit, and smiles to the faces of parents through music.
Bailey who is the Art Director of El Paso Pro Musica embraced his cello and played peaceful songs such as the Brahms Lullaby, parents swaddled their babies and enjoyed the relaxing sound from the cellist.
Elizabeth Lemus rocked her baby in a rocking chair while she bonded with her infant during Bailey’s music session.
Lemus spends hours in the NICU she says the sound of babies crying and beeping monitors becomes overwhelming.She says the
cello was soothing and an amazing feeling for her and her baby.
” While the cello was playing everything is so peaceful no monitors no babies crying, as a Mom it was a great experience with my baby”.
As an avid lover of music Bailey says he grew up listening to music because his mother was a pianist. He also knows first hand about the importance
of the soothing sound of the cello, his son was placed in intensive care unit at birth. Bailey says he played the cello so his son would feel peace.
” Music is like meditation it opens you up and brings positivity” Bailey says the cello is like the human voice it is as if someone is embracing
and whispering to you, the cello simulates the range of the human voice. Bailey says his goal is to bring beauty and love to peoples lives through his performance and community outreach.
