Couple killed in crash in east El Paso County Sunday
A couple was killed in a crash on the freeway Sunday evening.
It happened on I-10 West and Eastlake in far east El Paso County.
Investigators say 37-year-old Cesar Apodaca was speeding when he lost control of his SUV.
The vehicle slid sideways and crashed into two vehicles on the side of the road.
Apodaca and his 34-year-old wife, Melissa, were pinned inside the SUV.
They were pronounced dead at the scene.
