Update: El Paso Police charge Fort Bliss soldier with 5 counts of Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon in club shooting

The El Paso Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons Unit has charged 23-year-old Martin D. Guerrero with five counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon in this past weekend’s shooting outside Club Khaos in Downtown.
Guerrero, an Army specialist at Fort Bliss, was booked into the El Paso County Jail on bonds totaling $250,291.
Police are not releasing his mugshot at this time because it could compromise the investigation.

Martin D. Guerrero is charged with four counts of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
According to the police affidavit, at about 12:48 a.m. Sunday, Guerrero drove up to Club Khaos at 115 S. Durango.
He then exited his vehicle, showed and aimed a handgun and allegedly began to fire thehandgun in the direction of the front entrance to the night club.
Guerrero had been ejected from the club earlier for causing a disturbance.
