Police charge 1 with murder in drive-by shooting, seek another

El Paso Police have arrested one man and are looking for another in a Nov. 22 drive-by shooting death.

Alejandro Leal, 31, of the 100 block of Whittier, has been charged with Engaging In Organized Criminal Activity (E.I.O.C.A.) – Murder (Bond – $500,000.00) in the shooting death of 38-year old David Gomez at about 1:18 a.m Nov. 22 in the 300 block of Mirasol.

Police also have secured an arrest warrant for 29-year old Juan Avila, for E.I.O.C.A.-Murder with a bond of $500,000.00.

Avila is described as being 5-foot-7, 150 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, several tattoos with one on his neck and face.
