NMSU sells out ‘Pack the Pan Am’ game

Saturday’s NMSU Men’s Basketball game is sold out!

The Aggies take on Chicago State at the Pan Am. It’s been nearly a decade since NMSU has seen a sell out game-the last sell-out was during the 2006-2007 season.

Although it’s officially sold-out, athletic officials say they want to make sure everyone attends. It’s the last home game before the Western Athletic Conference tourney and there will be plenty of celebrations taking place. Three former Aggies will be inducted into the Hall of Fame and the team’s four seniors, DK Eldridge, Daniel Mullings, Chili Nephawe and Remi Berry will also be recognized.

Mario Moccia, NMSU’s athletic director, says fans are in for a treat.

“Their success, hopefully you’re in the stands and you see them cutting down the nets, you feel like you had something to do with that as well. There’s a lot going on, besides just the basketball game,” Moccia said.

Lou Henson will also be honored. He was recently selected for induction to the College Basketball Hall of Fame.

Saturday’s game will be a white-out and begins at 7 P.M.
