Two people injured in Northeast Shooting

Officers assigned to the Northeast Regional Command Center responded to a shooting call at 3:44 p.m., Saturday at the Casita Linda Mexican Restaurant located at 5315 Hondo Pass.

Officers arrived and located two males as the victims of gunshot wounds. Both men were transported to an area hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Crimes Against Persons was called to assist with the investigation. The preliminary investigation has revealed an altercation occurred between the victims and an employee of the restaurant.

The altercation moved from inside the restaurant to the parking lot and escalated resulting in the victims sustaining gunshot wounds. The investigation is still underway.
