Woman arrested in Santa Teresa with meth hidden in bra

Authorities have arrested a woman who allegedly tried to smuggle methamphetamine into New Mexico by hiding it in her bra as well as the car she was driving.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials at the Santa Teresa port of entry say two packages of meth were found in her bra Thursday.

They say a secondary search of the Dodge Stratus she was driving turned up a metal box with meth in the car’s oil pan.

They say 32-year-old Angelica Guadalupe Gomez Carrillo had three pounds of meth in all.

Authorities seized the drugs as well as the vehicle.

Carrillo, who is from Chihuahua, Mexico, has been referred to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
