Portion of Monroe to become two-way street in Central El Paso

Starting next Monday, a big change is coming to a familiar street.

Monroe, between Piedras and Dyer, will become a two-way street.

The street will be open to traffic until the construction is completed.

The City wants to give residents better access to the neighborhoods and make the street easier to use for those with disabilities.
