Update On Deming Car Theft
Dona Ana County Deputies tell ABC-7 that the man arrested was 33-year-old Santos Arroyo. Arroyo led Dona Ana County Deputies on a high speed car chase earlier today after stealing a car in Deming. Deputies said Arroyo abandoned his vehicle and took off on foot. A helicopter was called to help find the suspect. Arroyo is being charged with unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, driving without a license, resisting and obstructing. He is being held at the Dona Ana County Detention Center with no bond.
