Fit for ’15 07.03.15: Patriotic Pops
PATRIOTIC POPS RECIPE
Base ingredients
4 c. almond milk
2 T. honey (sugar substitutes can also be used)
1/2 T. Vanilla extract
Variations:
4 T. each raspberry, blueberry preserves (fresh/frozen berries may be used — just blend with milk)
2 T. lemon extract
Blue and red food coloring (optional)
Procedure
1. Heat the milk, add honey and vanilla
2. Rest until cool to the touch, divide milk into thirds and add flavors
3. Set in containers and freeze
4. If making into triple-layered pops, fill pop mold a third of the way, freeze for 2 hours, then repeat
