Woman killed in US 54 vehicle rollover

Betty Ann Gay, 23, died Saturday night in a one-vehicle rollover crash. Gay was speeding northbound on US 54 just North of Hondo Pass. She attempted to pass a vehicle by using the left emergency lane and center median. Gay overcorrected as she tried to get back into traffic and lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle rolled several times before coming to a stop. Alcohol is believed to be a factor.
