NMSU Football: Aggies Looking Good as Opening Day Nears

are looking good for doug martin’s group… he says his team has a lot more depth than it did a year ago… and i think a lot of fans are going to like what they see out of this year’s bunch… as for coach… he’s feeling much better about his guys too… “i think we’re a much mor talented football team with the two recruiting classed we have in here now. i think they’re a much more confident group because of the size and strength differences that we have. all those guys who played last year as true freshman are 15-20 pounds heavier, they’re all a lot stronger. we’re a much faster football team. i think that’s breeding some confidence within our program.” coach martin adds that tyler rogers has been great in camp and is doing a terrific job of taking care of the football… remember that was a problem last year…
