NMSU hosts second scrimmage before regular season

Following another week of preseason practice, the NM State football team had its second scrimmage on Saturday morning in Aggie Memorial Stadium.

After warming up, the team moved in to open field drills where the first and second team each ran 20 plays. The Aggies then worked on red zone plays before concluding the scrimmage with a 2-minute drill.

The Aggies open the 2015 season on Sept. 5 as they travel to Gainesville, Fla. to take on the Gators in a 5:30 p.m. (MT) kickoff. The game will be televised on the SEC Network and will be on the radio on AM570 in Las Cruces.
