High School FB: Two A Days – El Dorado
a days… our seventh story takes place at el dorado high school… a season ago the el dorado aztecs lit up the scoreboard… marching up and down the field on everyone … even after a heartbreaking playoff loss… the team expectations are as high as ever. hill: “i think this offense can be the best this school has ever had.” “el dorado averaged 42 points per game last year on offense and has the potential to be even better this year. but a strange thing happened in the off- season. after all, it’s not every day your head coach looks at an offense like that and says: that needs to be addressed.” althoff: “ofte times we did put our defense in bad spots and that’s our goal this year. make sure we put our defense in better positions. we’re still going to score points but we’re going to do good things for our defense because we’ve got some great athletes over there.” assad: “the tempo i much faster. i feel like coach molina, the defensive coordinator is doing a lot more stuff to help our defense be more successful. the offense is really good. i can’t believe our offense can get that good.” they might operate at an efficient pace but the offense may very well be one of the greatest the city has ever seen… hill: “it feels pretty good t have some recognition but it’s always tough no matter what, in this division. our goal is just to go all out, push everyone as hard as we can, do what we do, and maybe average more than 42 points.” with all of th talent this team has… every goal the players have set for themselves is attainable… when watching el dorado… don’t look away… you could miss something extraordinary… el dorado opens its season this thursday night with a tough one against eastlake… you can find all of our two a days features on our website: kvia dot com … we have only two stories left… tomorrow… we visit with mayfield… week 2 of the nfl preseason is in the books… the start
