StormTrack Weather First Alert expires; chance of rain remains

The StormTrack Weather team lifted a First Alert issued late last week, but there is still a chance of rain.

“The radar does have some action on it,” StormTrack Meteorologist Krystal Klei said. “Nothing crazy, but some light rain is possible.”

A 30 to 50 percent chance of rain still exists for Thursday, with better chances for rain later in the afternoon. The severe weather threat is considerably lower.

The First Alert was issued on Friday, due to severe weather. Those storms ended up creating heavy rain, hail storms, strong winds and two tornado warnings.
