Veteran receives free car
Staff Sgt. Robert Ellis was gifted a 2010 Nissan Altima from Caliber Collision on Saturday.
After 11 years in the Army, Ellis has returned back to El Paso.
Ellis is a Purple Heart recipient after being shot three times during war in Afghanistan in 2012.
Although suffering from those injuries, he continued to serve his country and served a nine-month deployment in 2014.
Ellis says this car will help his family tremendously as he is set to go back to school.
