One person killed in deadly crash near Las Cruces
At least one person is dead following a fatal crash on Interstate 10 near Las Cruces late Wednesday night. The incident happened around 8 p.m. near mile marker 134.
The crash caused I-10 East to be shut down for several hours. Traffic was diverted onto US 70/Picacho to Motel Boulevard. New Mexico state officials say the accident was cleared and the highway was reopened around 2 a.m. State and local officials have not released any other details on what may have caused the crash, the number of injuries, or how many other vehicles were involved.
