Veterans Day honors service members

Dozens of veterans turned out for the annual celebration at the Ambrosio Guillen Texas State Veterans Home.

Many were willing to tell their stories about their experiences in the military. Some fought in conflicts and wars while others did not, but they shared same respect for one another.

One viewer wanted us to highlight the difference between Vietnam veterans and Vietnam-era veterans.

A Vietnam-era veteran served in the military during the Vietnam War but was never deployed to the country.
