Students, parents and teachers give back to Polk Elementary

Students, parents and teachers gathered at Polk Elementary to help clean up some of the school’s green spaces, while learning about composting and gardening.

The compost will be used in the school’s vegetable garden. All of the vegetables grown will be donated to a local food bank.
