Parkland Head Coach Jerry Walker Retires
Jerry Walker, longtime head football coach at Parkland High School, resigned from his position Thursday after 35 years of working at the Ysleta Independent School District.
During Coach Walker’s tenure, the Parkland High School Matadors qualified for the state football playoffs on numerous occasions, and won several district and bi-district championships.
The Ysleta Independent School District would like to thank Coach Walker for his numerous years of dedicated service to our district, and wish him only the best in his future endeavors.
