More than 20 residents without water after two water main breaks Friday morning
More than 20 residents are reportedly without water Friday morning after two water main breaks in west El Paso.
The break was reported at 2:30 a.m. on the 300 block of Carousel Drive near Carnival Drive.
El Paso Water Utilities (EPWU) were able to turn off the water by 3:30 a.m.
When EPWU crews were addressing the 6-inch break, they discovered another 6-inch break on the same line, also located on Carousel Drive.
It is reported that 16 customers are without water in homes while an apartment complex with at least 7 units is also without water.
EPWU are working to fix the breaks and could not say when they would have water restored
