Man arrested for shooting and killing man Saturday
A man is behind bars after shooting and killing a man Saturday.
The incident happened on the 12000 block of Stansbury street. Sheriff’s officers say a woman at the home told them her son, Steven Apilado, shot her husband, Vincent Apilado. Officers say that’s when Steven Apilado barricaded himself inside the home.
Sheriff’s office negotiators and SWAT responded and were able to negotiate with the man shortly after.
Apilado was arrested and charged with Murder. He was taken to the El Paso County Detention Facility under a $1,000,000 bond.
