UTEP Football: Sources – 5 Coaches Not Returning

as many as 5 utep assistant football coaches will not return next season … that would be quite an overhaul for sean kugler’s staff… the school paper… the prospecter… was the first to report the story.. among the five coaches said to not be returning are defensive coordinator scott stoker and offensive coordinator patrick higgins… the miners ranked just 93rd in total defense and 108th in total offense… utep has not confirmed the reports but coach kugler did release this statement… “i will be in the process of evaluating the entire program, as i do at the end of each season. personnel, scheme, coaches and self evaluation. any changes, staff related or otherwise will be announced in january as these things take time.” i went to the university earlier today to see if i could talk to one of the coaches but it is recruiting season and the coaches are out of town… we’ll have more on this as
