Body found in Clint; 3rd body found in 3 days in Fabens area of El Paso County

El Paso sheriff’s deputies were called out to an area in Clint Wednesday morning because of a body found off of Porter Rabb Road. That’s between North Loop Road and Alameda Avenue.

“Well when I first saw that pickup I thought there was someone out there picking pecans,” said A.R Miller.

Miller is the owner of two pecan farms along Porter Rabb Road. He tells ABC-7 people often trespass on his farms to steal pecans but Wednesday was was different

“I looked further up and saw the dead person,” Miller said.

Miller was driving along an irrigation ditch when when he saw the body. He also found a white pickup truck with blood splatters on the hood and bullet casings on the ground.

“It’s pretty evident there was gunshots,” Miller told ABC-7.

Miller recalls hearing gunshots Monday evening.

“It sounded like maybe 10 or 15 shots,” Miller said.

The farm owner says the body had looked like it had been there a few days.

“It’s not something you’d want to look at every day,” Miller said.

A spokesperson for the Sheriffs Office says the investigation is still in the preliminary stages and is ongoing. All they are saying about Miranda’s death is that it is suspicious.
