Richie Rodriguez and Mark Torrez sign to play for UTEP
Eastwood’s Richie Rodriguez and Mark Torrez both signed their letters of intent to play for UTEP.
Rodriguez dominated last season as he led the entire state of Texas with more than 1,700 yards receiving along with 21 touchdown catches.
Right alongside Rodriguez was his quarterback Torrez who threw for more than 3,800 yards and 41 touchdown passes his senior year.
It is still unknown if either player will see time on the field next season, but it is a step in the right direction for both Eastwood graduates.
