U.S Marshals need help in finding a female fugitive wanted for over 8 offenses

An arrest warrant was issued in October for Monica Velasco who is currently wanted for 8 offenses which include:

Count 1: Conspiracy to Conduct the Affairs of an Enterprise through a Pattern of Racketeering Activity

Count 2: Conspiracy to Possess with the Intent to Distribute A Controlled Substance

Count 3: Conspiracy to Import a Controlled Substance

Counts 4-5: Conspiracy to Launder Monetary Instruments

Count 6: Hobbs Act Conspiracy

Counts 7-8: Conspiracy to Kidnap in a Foreign Country

As of September of 2015, Ms. Velasco was employed at Thomas Manor Elementary located on the 7900 Block of Jersey in El Paso, Texas.

In September of 2015, she abruptly quit her job and moved out of her residence which was on the 1200 Block of Franklin Perch in West El Paso.

On January 25, 2016, Velasco was spotted on the 7200 Block of Safford in the Lower Valley. After conducting interviews, members of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force revealed that she had been hiding out at the residence for several months.

Velasco has not returned to this address and her whereabouts are currently unknown.

She has family members who reside on the East Side of El Paso, and her family owns a Shoe Store located on Alameda. Velasco is currently being featured on several Clear Channel Billboards on the East side of town.
