El Paso Marathon represents new winners from years past

Saturday, Feb. 21 marked the ninth annual Michelob Ultra El Paso Marathon here in the Borderland.

Miguel Perez was the first male to cross the finish line for the full marathon at Southwest University Park.

Perez finished with an official time of 2 hours, 47 minutes and 11 seconds.

While Lauren Reasoner was the first female to cross the finish for the full marathon as well, with an official time of 3 hours, 15 minutes and 14 seconds.

A near perfect day for all the runners. Perez said, “It’s a good day I mean it was a nice weather first half, and it was good I cant complain.”
