Guadalupe National Park to waive entrance fees for National Park Week

In celebration of National Park Week, Guadalupe Mountains National Park announced it will waive entrance fees April 16-24, 2016.

The park will also host National Park Week festivities on Saturday, April 23 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Activities will include ranger-led interpretive walks, wildlife touch-table and Junior Ranger activities.

“The weather is beautiful this time of year and it’s a great opportunity to enjoy a fee free visit to the park,’ said superintendent, Eric Brunnemann. “Bring a picnic lunch and come for a hike or join in the weekend festivities.”
