A water main break flooded streets in South El Paso early Friday morning.

It started around 4 am on the 200 block of Lisbon, which is close to the Food King supermarket and across the street from Fox Plaza. Water could be seen gushing several feet into the air.

The water was turned off by 5:30 am. El Paso Water Utilities reports that about 10 customers are affected. Henderson Middle School, which is in the area, was not affected.

It was not clear when water would be turned back on for those customers affected.
