Friends, loved ones react to death of Chapin senior

As the friends and family of Chris Carreon were coming to grips with the rollover that took his life Friday, people were reacting with heartfelt messages as well.

Even as the cleanup was underway at the crash site Saturday morning, a makeshift memorial had been set up by Carreon’s friends and family. The Chapin High School senior was killed Friday afternoon when with the vehicle he was in ended upside down on the fence of an eye care clinic.

Kami tweeted, “The Chapin community never fails to come together.”

Jojo tweeted an image showing Carreon’s face with the text, “outstanding individuals can be taken, but let it be known that they will never be forgotten. God has taken you from us but now you are a beautiful angel among the heavens, taking care of all of us. We love you Chris. RIP Chris Carreon, May 6, 2016,” along with the message, “Gone but never forgotten, RIP Chris.”
