Far east rollover kills one teen, injures three others

One teen is dead after Saturday night’s rollover in east El Paso. It happened on the 13000 block of Jobe road and John Hayes Street shortly after 11:45 p.m. The El Paso Sheriff’s Office said a Jeep was traveling southwest on Jobe and for an unknown reason didn’t turn on a curve on the street, causing the Jeep to leave the street and roll over.

According to sheriff’s deputies two teen boys and two teen girls, all between 17 and 18 years old, were in the car. One died at the scene and the other three were transported with minor injuries.

Deputies haven’t released the identities of the teens at this time.
