the new inductees are selected because of their significant contributions to fort bliss soldiers, civilians and army families. take a look– greg allen– chief of the el paso police department. yolanda castillo–el paso uso director and kay bailey hutchison– former u-s senator they were all honored yesterday in a ceremony at the fountains at farah– that included some live music and great weather. fort bliss major general stephen twitty says all three were selected not only by top officials– but by soldiers and the civilian workforce of fort bliss. “and you can tell by the…to have them on our wall” their photos will now go up at the centennial club at fort bliss– along with 20 other former inductees such has mayor john cook and former congressman silvestre reyes. the search for debris belonging to downed malaysian airlines flight mh370 continues — despite the recent discovery of wreckage. continuing our complete coverage… malaysian officials said the discovery of the pieces confirms — the search area has been correct up to this point. search teams will continue to scour the over 100-thousand square mile area throughout the summer — but it is unclear at this point if it will continue after that. the two pieces found thursday are “almost certainly” from flight 370. the aircraft disappeared mysteriously over 2 years ago with over 200 people on board. extensive underwater searches off the coast of australia have continued to come up empty. / could the terror attack on the brussels metro station have been avoided?
