EP Hispanic Chamber of Commerce awards scholarships to those pursuing a higher education

The El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is investing in the future.

Tuesday, it celebrated its Scholarship Awards Banquet at the Camino Real Hotel Downtown.

20 area high school and college students received $1,500 to help ease the burden of a higher education.

WestStar Bank, El Paso Electric Company, The Hospitals of Providence, The Las Palmas-Del Sol Healthcare network, and First-Light Federal Credit Union
are just some of the businesses who are investing in tomorrow’s leaders.

Since 2001, The El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has awarded more than $330,000 in scholarships to 295 students.
